Ashokan Paulin & Partners are an emerging spatial design practice based out of Bangalore and Berlin.

Possessing unique skills and experience, the practice is concerned with providing innovative and refined architectural outcomes that resonate a simplicity, conceptual rigour and material invention. Through the detailed examination of client needs and historical, cultural and physical conditions of often complex sites, the practice is committed to developing unique architectural situations that respond to sustainability, constructability and current and likely future patterns of use.

Harnessing available technologies and an inventive use of materials, light and space, it seeks to question and re-examine prevalent planning methods with investigative research based processes in pursuit of meaningful compositions pertaining to our modern understanding of place.

Projects are undertaken throughout South East Asia, Europe and Africa – primarily in inner-city, city and suburban locations across a range of scales and types. With a detail design focus, these encompass boutique private residences, residential developments, commercial developments, schools and institutional developments, resorts, hotels, industries, civic buildings like conventional centers, criminal courts, labs, exhibition centers, balancing client and planning authority objectives, whilst providing exceptional personalized architectural services to client that often exceed their expectations.

DIMPLE ASHOKAN

is an COA registered Architect who is educated at RV School of Architecture, Bangalore, also acquired proficiency in Project Management & Communication from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore with fifteen years of professional experience in Architectural Design & Design Developments of projects from concept to the completion. She has successfully handled medium to large scale projects in India and abroad, exhibiting strong leadership/team management skills, creativity at design, analytical and logical skills and system knowledge. She has been a Lead Architect with some of the best Internationally well know Architectural practices.

She has experience in designing Boutique Villas, Premium Residential Projects, Commercial Developments, Schools & Educational Institutions, SEZs, Industrial Structures, Cruise Terminals, Convention Centers in South Asia and has lead several projects for the major developments in Indian Real Estate Industry.

She is the Founder of AP India and heads Architecture and Design Management.

MARC PAULIN

is an Berlin registered Architect and Designer, with a Master Degree in Architecture from University of Applied Arts, Vienna, Austria, also a Master Degree in Industrial Design at University, Essen, Germany with eighteen years of International experience in Architecture, Interiors and Product Design. He has been an Creative Associate Designer with world’s most well known Architectural firms in Europe & US. His main strengths is to perceive the design from its initial concept thoughts to most modern and futurist buildable design lines which respects and responds to the nature and it’s cultural surroundings.

He has extensive experience in design of individual residences, multi unit residential, civic buildings and boutique commercial developments which includes skyscrapers and is involved in all stages of each project, guiding the client, consultant and the project team to ensure that the design intent and quality are maintained to completion of each project. He has been actively taken part in some of the prestigious design competitions held in Europe

He is the Founder Partner of AP India and heads Design and Creative Studio.
